After experiences with Saritas chilled ready meals and the popularity of food delivery from their own restaurant in Kristiansand, Indian Gourmet decided to launch a new brand, "take away by Saritas“, offering chilled and frozen ready meals. In addition to traditional Indian dishes, the portfolio also includes fusion cuisine with Norwegian and Italian influences.
When we developed the brand itself and the design of the boxes, we drew inspiration from traditional paper bags used for food delivery. The "take away by Saritas" brand is based on simple black print on recycled paper. For the packaging design, we added distinctive coding with bright colours and a clear photo of the meal.
In addition to easy-readable preparation instructions and legal texts on the back of the packaging, there are also cross-references to the other meals in the range.
We succeeded in creating a new strong brand and packaging design that cannot be overlooked in refrigerators or freezers.
